About tara louise kenyon

In Tara’s personal life, she experienced multiple traumas which led to her diagnosis of complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD). When she sought support, she found herself going round in circles and bounced around services. Tara is passionate about helping people with their mental health issues by providing the right support.   

Tara’s diagnosis motivated her to pursue a PhD in army veterans with complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD) and their experience of transition and support post discharge. She also completed a course in Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) to help people process their negative memories and emotions to avoid re-telling and endless appointments. As well as academic experience, Tara has ample voluntary experience in helping people with their mental health issues ranging from severe depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, PTSD, stress and more.
